Cakes by Anna offers bespoke cake designs to suit every occasion. Wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, brownies, blondies and more, are all lovingly handmade by me, Anna, from my purpose built cake kitchen and studio which is located in Bentley on the Essex/Suffolk border.
My conveniently located studio is just off the A12 between Ipswich and Colchester, which makes it easy to serve customers throughout East Anglia. It provides easy collection from the studio for custom cakes and quick and efficient delivery to lots of local wedding venues for wedding cakes. Popular wedding venues such as Copdock Hall, All Manor of Events, Woolverstone Hall, Woodhall Manor, Hintlesham Hall, Fynn Valley Terrace, Priory Hall, Milsoms, Houchins Wedding Venue, Gosfield Hall, Villiers Barn & many more, are all within drivable distance from the Cakes by Anna studio, and all wedding cakes are delivered and set up at your venue by myself. The studio is also a convenient pick-up location if you are celebrating a birthday or special occasion at any of these locations, or if you are travelling further north or south via the A12.
I have been creating custom cakes professionally for five years now, but I have baked for as long as I can remember. My passion for all things cake was passed down to me from my beautiful mum, Barbs, who taught me to bake as a young child and who has inspired me so much over the years with the amazing birthday cakes she would make for us as children and the delicious treats she has baked for our family ever since!
Cake certainly brings my family together, and my own gorgeous children - and now grandchildren - have been the best taste testers. One of them will always be on hand for quality control. Seeing the joy something as simple as cake can bring to my family inspired me to create the same magical moments for others. It is so lovely to play a part in the special occasions that make such happy memories for people and I aim to make those events as special as I can with the cakes I create.
